Burfi is a traditional sweet in Pakistan some times, you have a lot of burfi left over, and do not have any idea to reuse it. Do not worry; I’m sharing unique ways to make burfi a more tasty and presentable dessert. Here are tips to make wonderful variations of burfi

  1. 1 you can use leftover burfi in carrot halwa instead of milk or khoya
  2. 2 you can use also leftover burfi as topping on ice cream
  3. 3 yummiest option is to make kulfa, yes kulfa from it; you are amazed how it would be possible. Now I’ll tell you how it would be

Kulfa from leftover burfi

Ingredients

Burfi 500 g 1/2 kg

Milk 3 glass

Khoya 250 g

Sugar 1/2 cup

Crushed almonds 2 tbsp

Crushed pistachios 2 tbsp

Method

  1. Heat milk
  2. Crumble burfi and khoya and add in hot milk
  3. Add sugar and store continuously on medium flame until khoya mixture combine well in milk
  4. When it starts thickening; turn off the heat and add crushed almonds and pistachios to it
  5. When this mixture cools down, place it in an airtight bowl and freeze for 5–6 hours

Variation

You can also freeze the mixture in kulfi sticks. Your children will love this idea
